Ever tried to avoid someone in a store?

I did that once and I’ll regret it forever.

saw my friend at the grocery store in feb 2022. I wasn’t doing well that day with my dizziness issues and knew I couldn’t hold a conversation that day or be in the store for any length of time except to grab a load of bread so I avoided her

two weeks later she messaged me to say she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer and thought she had a year to live. She was dead in three weeks. I never got to see her alive after that day I avoided her in the store

Yes. This very chatty older woman who lives on my street. She's a nice lady but she just goes on and on. This was maybe 2015? I was at the grocery store and spotted her talking with her mother. I darted down another row and tried keeping tabs as to her whereabouts the rest of my trip and then it happened. She spotted me and got right behind me in line. Yes, my ear was chatted off and I just sat there and took it.

I did Friday in the men’s room at a football game. Long story short he bugs my brother to drive him to games
