how to cool down in a heatwave?

douse several hand towels, wring out just enough to keep from dripping, roll them up lengthwise and put in the freezer. once frozen, drape over the back of your neck sev times or more thru-out the day. drink more water than normal. take a tepid bath

I've got a very fine mesh t-shirt that I wet and wring out and put back on.

Ac Showers,sitting in the shade...if I put on a bathing suit I can hose myself off!😀

Take luke warm not cold showers. I find soaking a t shirt, wring out the excess water and wearing it until dry keeps me fairly cool. Staying hydrated and ideally in buildings with air con also helps.

Wet your underwear and freeze them for a few hours so you can wear them

Get your shirt wet and put it in the freezer. When you put it on it will be like air conditioning when you stand infront of a fan.

Get a water fan unit, fill it with ice, normal fans just blow hot air around.

Cold wet cloth round the neck, cold water on the wrists.

Put a desk fan in your freezer. Ghetto but effective.

Ice water and lots of it to keep your body temp down.
