@Picklebobble2 I like historical novels that weave credible stories around real events & locations: especially if they include real life characters I can go on to learn more about.

Guy Vanderhaege's trilogy ('The Englishman's Boy' etc), set in the whisky smuggling days between Fort Whoop-up and Fort Benton, would be a good example.

@chocolateNcheese Love your username. Chocolate & cheese are two of my favorite simple things. I've been known to melt them together, under the grill, on a pancake. Have experimented, not very successfully, with chocolate coated cheese cubes (You can eat the failures.)
