Next year I’ll be 30!! God I’m getting old 🙁😭😳

I'll be 36 soon. I haven't used the word old to describe myself, it's nowhere near me it feels.
It's something some people choose to say and feel. I'd say, pick your birthday gift wisely.
To me it looks like my 20s were a century ago and that I had plenty of Time. And that I still do have an abundance of Time ahead!
Yet at the same time I live with an alertness that all might end tomorrow. ❤️
Now the important question. You're a Leo or a Virgo ? 😁

Time is a strange and scary concept. I feel like special relativity applies to this feeling regarding neurological activity that is conscious.

Have more experiences in life and we perceive it to pass more slowly. Don't leave your room for 10 years and it flashes by. Sleep for that same amount of time and it passes even faster.

Imagine being in a coma for 30 years. You would wake up at 60 and the sense of dread would be magnified 1000 fold!

Doing more isn't always best though. The key is to use your brain actively in a state of eudaimonia and happiness. Otherwise you are just creating more experiences in a state of 'hell'.

Ah, the awkward 30s, when you're too old to be young, and too young to be old.

If average lifespan is increasing, then the time you get old is increasing. 30 ain't old, only a third way through life. Getting old is compulsory, growing old is optional.

If your heart feels young, you will be a fresh kind of person, even if you are 100 yo. So relax, take every year with pride and a smile, and enjoy life to the fullest ☀️

I know people who have been 29 for many many years. There’s hope for you too

30 is nothing. Not much changes unless you make some dramatic changes in your lifestyle or something like that.

This is just a temporary feeling. Once you are 30, you don't care anymore.. lol
