@Nanori I don't have complaints; I mean, maybe it's not the acting but the material he has to work with?
reflectingmonkey · 51-55, M
yes but you live longer and the life you live is more fun because it feels better to be in a fit, healthy body. a fit healthy body has more option also, like for example, it can climb a mountain while the unhealthy body is super limited in its possibilities. also, healthy people tend to be healthy until the very end and often only become sick a very short time before dying while unhealthy people start dying 10 or 20 years before they actually die.

Yeah, but you have a much sweeter ride up until that point.

Exercise and healthy eating can extend your life, but it may not.

More importantly, though, it increases your quality of life by making daily things you do comparatively easier and by increasing mental and spirtual toughness which makes pretty much everything else easier as well.
That’s why I deadlift actually

Yes, but there's a non-zero chance that eating healthy and exercising will both extend the time you have before you die, and allow you to enjoy it more.

I'm just saying.

One teacher i hated had said a single thing that stayed with me through the years.
"There where you invest, from there you may harvest"
it's about feeling great on a daily basis not cheating death

Just faster. The two obese sibs (they smoked as well) died at 61 and 59. Parents died at 72 and 76. -not obese but both smoked 25 yrs+.

Non-obese aunts-uncles & grandma died in 80s and 90s. They were more physically active.

Other sib overweight and drank alot due to stressful job...Quad bypass and heart attack. Mouth surgery for cancer- cigars.

Lifestyle choices matter.

did you know that the majority of the oldest people that ever lived all did the things that are supposedly bad for you, like smoking, drinking, eating fatty/high cholesterol foods, etc.?
Virgo79 · 61-69, M

MsMiley · 26-30, F
