Renting places

I finally found a good place to buy for renting but now I'm second guessing myself if I want to get the place now, or should I wait for something cheaper, cause idk if I should wait any longer than I have now.

Take what you can at the moment, in Australia we have a serious rental crisis

Rents are ridiculous everywhere.
I luve in one of the most Affordable states and even a 1 bed would be 1000 a month its outrageous.

This very much depends on your local real estate market. Parts of the country are experiencing a net loss of population. This may result in an excess of properties available and push rents and prices lower. Of course this results in the opposite in the areas gaining population. The areas gaining population sometimes have the double impact of reduced new housing construction in these same areas resulting in even higher prices!

Don’t second-guess yourself when you see it by it buying’s always better than renting. I wouldn’t rent anything make other people money I’ll make money not them to long-term investment.

@Funlov oh I'm not buying real estate, it's for living in
Funlov · M
@maturedragon oh, you’re buying a house still the same thing location location location I just built a new one a year ago year and a half ago my kids are getting older, so I built the house just for me and a big shop for room for my toys. Are interest rates high where you are do you have to put a big down payment down to keep your mortgage down
maturedragon · 26-30, M
@Funlov the down payment is okay one month of rent's worth so not too bad

If it's a good place and a good price then get it , if not you should wait for a better one.
maturedragon · 26-30, M
@Scarfface I guess I'm just nervous of spending 850 a month lol
Scarfface · 46-50, M
@maturedragon housing is most peoples biggest expense, it's always scary and worrying.
