You get granted a wish: you get ONE do-over in life. What would you change? It can be anything.

I would have ended my last relationship about 5 years earlier.

I wouldn’t have fallen in love with a certain someone.
ChampagneOnIce · 51-55, F
@Magenta At least you and I became closer as a result. 🤗
Magenta · F
@ChampagneOnIce I'm grateful for that. 💞
ChampagneOnIce · 51-55, F
@Magenta Me too 😊💖

I wouldn't have gotten married. While it benefitted others it made my life much more difficult and lonely.
Mid 80s...would have dumped about $10K into Microsoft when it was a penny stock trading at $0.32 per share.
Fungirlmmm · 51-55, F
I might just have that wish granted very soon.
The last time my dad spoke to me, I wish I had replied I love you too instead of just ok.
QueenOfTheNerds · 41-45, F
I would have believed him when he told me I deserved better.

That my children were not so ill

january 1, 1974

it was the road not taken and would have affected my entire life course.
@Pretzel ? Relationship? College?
AbbeyRhode · F
I would have moved heaven and earth to keep my loved ones from getting the death shots.
Fairydust · F
I wouldn’t go back and change anything, I would still use the wish and give myself a letter when I was a child, nothing that would predict my future, just a heartfelt one with advice and care etc. 🧚‍♀️✨📃

I don't think there is anything I could have done differently. At the time I was doing everything "the right way". It still lead me to where I am now.

I'm serious about this - - I'd have let go of the overturned boat I was clinging to when I was 4 yrs old and let myself sink to the bottom of the Grand River.

I wish I had insisted my mom didn’t get married. But she was also a grown woman. I told her how I felt, but she made her own choice 🖤
I would give this wish to someone who needed it. I do not do makeovers ever.

I didn't marry so young, but travelled the world instead.
I would walk away when I should have
Wiseacre · F
My marriage to mr. psychopath!
I would have liked to have a mentor from about age 18 - someone much older, super intelligent, creative, wise, insightful and happy to give guidance.
I've been a very slow learner - so many mistakes - most due to emotional issues and fear of failure.

Just the ONE isn't worth it - unless you can wish for MORE WISHES????

Otherwise NOTHING needs to be changed, it is all predestined, everything happens for reasons, nothing more can be done at this point.

It's a waste of time to do this ..
We just have to try and move forward
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
@SW-User So this hypothetical thread isn't for you, then.

Spoken up and not tolerated things that weren’t normal
BeJeweled · F
Wish I had never gotten involved with him years ago. Huge mistake.
Harmonium1923 · 51-55, M
I would have given an earlier relationship a second chance.
I would have ended things with someone on 2019 instead of 2023.
iamelijah · 26-30, M
Rebirth. I dunno. But either way, living sucks.
I would have never come to Michigan
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
I want my brother back
SarithBorn · 18-21, M
Probably being born. 😇

Go back to December 5th

Nothing. That one change...simple or complicated... could and probably would.... change many other things. I'd not want anything to change involving having my children, the happiness throughout the years, even the sorrow....
