Life after life

So ive seen a few clips online , all saying that science has found a way of proving that the consciousness does live on after death . Mainly from reliable sources too.
What are your thoughts please .
Only reply if your serious .
Dont take the piss 😤 thanks

I think most people have always believed that there s life after death. You don’t need science to tell you that
@AbbeyP it’s becoming obvious you are the one not well educated in history . I will help you. In approx 316 AD Emperor Constantine made Christianity the official religeon and for the next 400 years anyone who disagreed was tortured, imprisoned and or killed.
AbbeyP · 70-79, F
He didn’t actually. Learn some history. As I say PM me and I will show you where you are wrong. @Ryderbike
@AbbeyP you can’t show me where I am wrong but go ahead and pm me.

I have no idea about scientific proof but I do know that life does not end with our physical death.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Wiseacre No. It is sure knowledge. Have you ever gone to the moon? Do you know that it is not made of green cheese? How do you "know" that?
@hippyjoe1955 we know because we have samples from the moon and they aren’t green cheese

I've studied the death and near-death experience for years, and have a visceral knowledge that there IS no death. In fact, quite the opposite. When our body dies, we become the super consciousness we truly are, but are impeded from experiencing whilst we're IN our body. "Death" is an awakening from this dream of physical reality into our TRUE reality.
I'm convinced my transitioning into non-physical reality will be the best part of my life.

I don't believe there is anything after death, seriously! Most ppl can't grasp that because death is a terrible thing to most.
@Thingscanonlygetbetter I stand by my comments. Very open to people like you that make stuff up. Like your “reliable sources” nonsense which of course is why you never named them.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Thingscanonlygetbetter Yeah he does have a very high opinion of his failed ideas and ideology and is extremely intolerant. Best to ignore that level of stupidity.
Fluffybull · F
@Wiseacre Agree.

well, they say all energy doesnt die it transmutes into something else and consciousness is energy... i dont know how they know this is true but ive heard it stated as fact

I believe that when we die our soul goes to another dimension its like those who know facts about events that happened a long time ago and dejavu (how does that work)
Confined · 56-60, M
I've known a person or two that had near death experiences. Have heard some interestibg stories.
@Confined I've known a few who've crossed over to "the other side" and have shared their experiences with many. These accounts are very consoling to me. And that they're all essentially the same, even more so.
TimeStandingStill · 46-50, F
I most definitely believe our souls, our energy carry on.
Serenity1980 · 41-45, F
I think there is something after death but what I don't know.
Our body is organic our soul is not. If science says we leave an energy thumbprint in our coming and going, then it stands to reason that our soul can do the same after it leaves the body.

Maybe there is life after death for some, but sadly I am absolutely positive that I am NOT magic, so when I die that will be the end of me. I am life. Nothing more. Of that there is no doubt in my mind..
@SW-User You dont need to be magic ✨️
Your unique ,
There is only 1 of you . No one can replace you.
There will never be another you Fact .

The whole idea freaks me out. But when my grandma passed, I tried to talk to her as she went, just so she would know that I was there with her.
@TheLordOfHell That was very kind of you. I'll bet she knew.
TheLordOfHell · 41-45
@PhoenixPhail She was there for my birth, it was only proper that I saw her out. And thank you for saying that.
Banksy83 · 41-45, M
@TheLordOfHell You have honoured her memory by saying that she lives on in you

I have been near death twice and actually died once more with no heartbeat for 5 minutes, there is no hereafter, it just fades to black. Also, as both a medic and a nurse I've seen many people die and their consciousness didn't live on after death. Most of us are unconscious when we die and there is no consciousness living on after death, you die, you're gone, that is all there is...
MrAboo · 36-40, M
I believe in God and a life after. The details I’m still working on.
silentwriter180 · 51-55, F
We all have thoughts and beliefs about this, and we all have the right to do so. Me? I honestly don't know, but I'd like to think we leave this world to join another, but of course, I'm not going to get my hopes up in case that doesn't actually happen. We will never know for sure until our lives here end.
The premise of your question . I am not aware science has proven consciousness lives on after death.

You state “reliable sources”

So name them.
cycleman · 61-69, M
Scientific prove is by the spin Doctors.
So easy to say "reliable sources" without stating the sources.
Fluffybull · F
No-one has "proved" that there is life after death.
@Thingscanonlygetbetter and no one has proved that we won’t be picked up by aliens and taken to a far planet as sex slaves after we die.

Logical thinking is a prerequisite
Fluffybull · F
@Ryderbike Exactly. I have no problem with people saying they believe in life after death but they can't claim it's a scientific fact. It's just a belief.
Fluffybull · F
@Thingscanonlygetbetter You're missing the point. People don't have a problem that you believe in life after death. They have a problem with you saying it's been scientifically proved. That's just rubbish.
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
I've always known there something beyond. But the thought of being conscious forever is horrifying to me.
rrraksamam · 31-35, M
I'm not sure about science but most religions and some logic make a pretty convincing case for the afterlife
Dshhh · M
how about an attribution? this sorry pops up every few years with no serious follow up

21 grams...

How many lives do we live? How many times do we die? They say we all lose 21 grams -- at the exact moment of our death.
Everyone.
And how much fits into 21 grams? How much is lost? When do we lose 21 grams? How much goes with them? How much is gained? How much is gained?
Twenty-one grams.
The weight of a stack of five nickels.
The weight of a hummingbird.
The weight of a chocolate bar.
21 grams...
Everyone .
