Is there any "Original Sin" in your life ?

in my life I have one and it's really darkest one that I still feel sorry for it although it was happened many years ago
Majorlatency · M Best Comment
Original sin is the sin which corrupts our nature and gives us the tendency to sin..

Then sure I do. A dark side that is locked in the deep recesses of our minds.
@lonelyloner Good seeing you! 😍
@lonelyloner Thanks for BA!
this isn’t correct. it’s brainwash. @Majorlatency

2 Corinthians 5:21
King James Version
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. I HOPE THIS HELPS.

ozgirl512 · 26-30, F
Not sure about it being original sin... Sounds more like something you have to move past... Or remain stuck where you are ...
ozgirl512 · 26-30, F
@lonelyloner a forbidden desire?
lonelyloner · 31-35, F
@ozgirl512 nope that you did but not really want to accept
ozgirl512 · 26-30, F
@lonelyloner it's in the past... Move on

lonelyloner · 31-35, F
@Amylynne i know but it's running in my mind always and disturbing me
Amylynne · 26-30, F
@lonelyloner then you. must face it. if only in the privacy of you own heart
DallasCowboysFan · 61-69, M
@lonelyloner What is disturbing you so much?
Londonn · 36-40, M
when I was soooooo little, times even you don't understand what is living and dying, I thought I squeezed a cat between a gate door and a wall... and I lived with this burden for a long time.. then years later I figured that I could only see/imagine such a stupid thing in my dream.. then I relaxed.
lonelyloner · 31-35, F
@Londonn in our childhood we all have some brutality to tortured others who ever we can but i feel it time it became non effected in our character
bhatjc · 46-50, M
What was your original sis. I would say covet is mine.
bhatjc · 46-50, M
@sunriselover Yeah and then he came back from the dead
@bhatjc we all have things that we fight against. Whether that is alcohol, drugs, obesity, our greed, sarcasm or selfishness..

A salient way to deal with this is to distribute at a food bank, work with troubled or dysfunctional students, work in a night shelter, volunteer for the Samaritans. The list is endless. You don’t have time to think about original sin.
bhatjc · 46-50, M
@sunriselover Very true
Roadsterrider · 56-60, M
Whatever happened all those years ago can't be changed. Living with it is all we can do. We all have a dark side with anger or greed or lust. For me it was learning how to deal with that dark side and living life without letting it rule me.
lonelyloner · 31-35, F
@Roadsterrider thanx for share

I was thinking about this...
Yes I do have one in my life.

Please consider not burdening yourself. I realize others will say or have said "You're not alone" or "You're only human" and it's easy for one to say. However there is validity to either statement.
lonelyloner · 31-35, F
@onrealityofdreams can understand
No. None whatsoever.
All that sinning stuff is a cultural, religious, control agenda.
It gets more in the way of people's lives rather than lets them live it.

Sin is an imaginary disease invented to sell an imaginary cure.
SW-User
By definition we’re born with original sin, so no, there is not one.
SW-User
@ChipmunkErnie The prophecy in the OT states 'born of a virgin' - and that's the clear understanding of what is meant. As CS Lewis points out - you have two choices - to either believe there was a virgin birth, or not - but you can't make up an interpretation that says the Bible doesn't state it was a virgin birth.

That said, I disagree with Catholic thinking that says Mary remains a virgin for life. There's no real biblical basis for that.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
@SW-User Not according to Biblical scholars that I've read and heard-- it's a mis-translation.
SW-User
@ChipmunkErnie You need new biblical scholars. There are always those willing to mis-translate or lie. That nonsense view originated in the 19th century, and debunked by scholarship long since.
I don't know what the original sin is, but I have one sin I try not to think about. It's a big one. It scares me when I think about it. It haunted me for years. It still does.
lonelyloner · 31-35, F
@WonderGirl1 same here only one i really not able to forgot
@lonelyloner Me neither. I'm taking it to the grave.

I have a dark side and I sin. Sin is really our own beliefs vs our darkest desires.
lonelyloner · 31-35, F
@cd4259 so true , i like your opinion
cd4259 · 61-69, M
@lonelyloner happy to chat on pm anytime you would like to.
@cd4259 keep working at it.

Yes, I know the feeling, just have to learn to accept it or let it consume you
lonelyloner · 31-35, F
bugeye · 26-30, F
None at all. 2000ish years ago we had a human sacrifice to make up for it.
bhatjc · 46-50, M
@bugeye Like there is still some of that around as well. Which we Never hear about.
I just did the sins they told me i couldn't do as a kid 😒
lonelyloner · 31-35, F
@SStarfish understood
Nanori · F
Mine is hatred, most things I do is based on that.
lonelyloner · 31-35, F
@Nanori can understand most of us like that but dare to confess
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
I don't believe in original sin. I have done things I feel bad about.
WillaKissing · 56-60
Started cross dressing at age 11 and fell in love with it as much as the women I grew to date later in life. I stopped for a long period of time but since being divorced and single I started really cross dressing and I love it too much to stop ever again.

Dating is rough for me being a straight cross-dressing male, no women want to date me.
No, there have only been small ones.
lonelyloner · 31-35, F
@NerdyPotato good 2 know
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M

SW-User
there is no sin
lonelyloner · 31-35, F
@SW-User ok
Poeticdiva · 31-35, F
The only thing I feel bad about in my life is the fact that I used to treat my best friend like garbage because of things people were telling me and making me do. I still apologize today and it's been 15 years.
LostnFound69 · 51-55, M
I think many of us have that, locked away. Not sure if mine is an original sin but it certainly changed me

Have you never been able to forgive yourself, the situation or whomever needs forgiveness?
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
I cannot think of any sin of mine that hasn't been committed before. Therefore, it cannot logically be called "original".
lonelyloner · 31-35, F
@uncalled4 good to know that still you feel free of it
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
@lonelyloner I'm really kidding. I know that I am far from unassailable.
lonelyloner · 31-35, F
@uncalled4 oh good thinking
SW-User
I would consider lust to be the top of my list
