Further into this story, Brian Houston has resigned.
The acting head of the church, Pastor Phil Dooley read a statement by the Hillsong global and Australian boards which said: "We would like to advise you that Pastor Brian Houston has resigned as global senior pastor of Hillsong Church and the board has accepted his resignation."
He said it was time for a "humble reflection" for the church and thanked Mr Houston and his wife Bobbie for their service.

There are rapists and molesters all around the world, in every religeon, every country, every town, sadly probably in every neighborhood there is at least one victim of a secret violation. Only by having courage to recognize it’s wrong, no matter who the perpetrator is, can this sickness be overcome. It’s only recently that people have gained courage to see rape as an injustice even when by a family member or relative.

@Gusman There have been rumours about that guy for a long time. I make no secret that I am not a Morrison fan.. But associating himself (to the point where he tried to get Houston including into a party to visit the White House) is a real lapse of Judgement..😷
