My family does it to me, I suppose it's partly my fault for not saying it bothers me. And I know they don't mean it to be nasty. But you're right, when it's the only thing they go on about you start to think it is more than just joking around.

It's only okay if the person [b]is not[/b] insecure about it and can take it as a joke. But if that's the only thing they can "joke" about it's pretty childish and stupid either way.

It's never okay to pick at people for things they can't help or find hurtful.
Too often, people make fun of others... I find it as a way they deflect people from their own insecurities.
Something wrong with the heart of a person who gets pleasure hurting other's feelings for sport.
