Do you think we really need a vaccine? Why is no one talking about how to improve your immune system?

BondGirl84 · 36-40, F
That's what vaccines help to do... besides bacteria & viruses have been around a lot longer & can outsmart other biological beings!

Vaccines do improve our immune systems. As for this particular vaccine, many people feel like they need it, while others don't care.
What you're saying is common sense though and people are talking about it all the time. Like you always hear about eating enough antioxidants, getting enough vitamins and not stressing etc. Now whether people do it is another issue, but the information is there since we're basically children.
100% no.
Only those who have a financial stake in vaccines are pushing it.. it’s a money spin

That’s what a vaccine does.
Gets your immune system to recognise a threat then fight against it.

I’m sure you all were taught this back in 8th grade it’s amazing how many people just don’t know basic human biology

People with strong immune system often have worse reaction to virus because in many cases it's not the virus itself causing complications, it's the immune system going haywire trying to kill the virus. There's a common belief that regular exposure to cold strengthens your immune system so some people deliberately do activities such as swimming in icy ponds during the winter. Sadly, it turned out that those were the ones with far worse symptoms than other people. 🙁 Same with people who actively do sports and keep themselves in good physical condition.

Because bullshitters have gone on with similar nonsense for more than one year now and covid is still here.

So yes, we need it.
No, the "vaccine" they're pushing everyone to take, isn't a vaccine, at all. And, there ARE ways to bolster your immune system.

Eat healthy foods, exercise, get plenty of rest and sleep and take supplements. In particular, vitamins C, D3 and K. Also take zinc. A good multi-vitamin should contain all of those.

Contrary to what we've been told, it's also not good to wear a face mask. They don't protect you against virus, and they block bacteria, so your immune system doesn't get the exercise it needs to stay healthy.
Living in a bubble all the time makes you much more vulnerable to any infective agent that comes along.

And most of all, be happy. Don't be afraid or worry about world events, if you can help it. It's estimated that the root cause of 90% of all disease, is stress.

Adopt any spiritual practice that feels right to you. Meditation is GREAT for your health.
Be with your friends and loved ones as much as you can.
Loneliness is a killer.

Exactly. Thank you. Finally some common sense. 🥇👏

Yeah we need a vaccine.
How do you know no one’s talking about that ? But if all it took was improving one’s immune system, no one with a healthy immune system would contract Covid. But unfortunately, they have been. Not to mention all the people with compromised immune systems who can’t just snap their fingers and improve them.

The more experts in vaccines I hear the more I am beginning to doubt the efficacy of many vaccines. Flu vax = dud, Covid = death shot, Measles = not as advertised.
Jill1990 · 31-35, F
The vaccine improves your immune system. That’s how it works.
Well, improving your immune system is only part of it.

wildbill83 · 36-40, M
nope, and people are too busy sitting around indoors on their ass all day playing with their smart phones to worry about getting outside and improving their immune system...🤷‍♂️
MasterofNone · 26-30, M
We don't need it, per se but it could obviously end it sooner.

I wouldn't bother taking it unless I've to travel overseas
we get a vaccine for the common flu so why wouldnt we?
Ingwe · F
that's what I've been saying
No I won't take vaccine
