I'm on the second movie and so far it's not bad. The story is bad and the acting is questionable at times but the visual effects are amazing. Lots of really good practical effects and set pieces.

Have any of you seen these films? What are your thoughts?

@MalteseFalconPunch Inferno would be one of them. On its own it's actually a great movie, but tied to Hellraiser it just became a direct to video release.

@MalteseFalconPunch In fairness, that could help it. I just watched the second and so far the scripts are pretty shit. It's really the visuals that make these films watchable

My fiance LOVES Hellraiser and all of the work of Clive Barker.
@DearAmbellina2113 Well the visuals are amazing. Just wish the plot was a little stronger haha

The box. You opened it. We came.
Pin head and chatterbox were senobytes I think it was called.
@AthrillatheHunt Good memory haha

It's been awhile since I watched them. The earliest ones are great, especially when they play out the back-story; they get a bit far-fetched going forward although some of the sex scenes in the later ones are exciting. The later one where PinHead is outsmarted by the "toy-maker" (that might have been the last one) is satisfying.
I remember them. I don’t think I’ve ever seen them.
@Spoiledbrat Hard to forget these films. Pretty visually unique lol

I loved the original one, the second one wasn't bad, although I should rewatch it in higher fidelity.

I read the novella too, it's different from the movie, but it's good.
@basilfawlty89 Lol luckily I don't mind a big of 80s/90s cheese. In fact I prefer it sometimes haha

I don't think I saw ALL of them, I saw the early ones and one in space...Clive Barker is batshit crazy talented...
