Why are some people so disrespectful ?

Good manners have to be taught, and bad manners have to be punished. If that is not done when a child is young, they will grow up into the horrifyingly rude, obnoxious people we see today.

Eventually they will discover, to their sadness, that such behavior is not rewarded in the workplace, and it is not rewarded in their love lives, and it is not rewarded if and when they have children of their own, who will mirror them and make their lives a misery.

When the government restricts parents from disciplining there children with a belt, it is the rational conclusion that will happen, I don't mean parents that go over board and beat there children shouldn't be dealt with, but the parents that are trying to do good are threatened by jail time because they spank the child and the children threaten to call the police if they touch them. I myself think that spanking is a last resort and should be done when the parent has calmed down, and they child also. And the child is clear on the reason for the spanking. That's my opinion anyways

Bad parenting. The parents never said it was wrong so they just grew up believing they could do it.

Lack of discipline and boundaries in their lives and being treated like mini adults!

Kids have always been like that ask any old person.

Having patience with kids. That hasn't changed.

They need a whoooping..Plain and simple.

Its basically the schooling system that allows them to form groups at an early age and exposure to various things which they take for granted. So everything is a tool or a toy to deploy. Their overall composure is agitated due to these facts combined with ease of communication which they abuse. Impatience to the core which makes them intolerant.

Too much independence .. so they have lost their dependency .. and mistaking the freedom, which they never use for thinking.

If one thing to be blamed, its the lovelessness from family, as parents have no time for children and with everything being outsourced.

They weren't hit enough.
They also weren't taught that the rest of the world [u]doesn't[/u] love them, and [b]will [/b]hit them.

Many believe that integrity has to be assumed by just feeling it instead of earning it.

Pretty sure children have always been like that.

Wife works at a school. Some of the stories she tells just blow me away. If I ever tried some of that shit I'd be dead when I got home.
