Why are some people so disrespectful ?

Especially children who these days can be so rude, arrogant and downright obnoxious and feel they have the right to be.

@Laurababe Corporal punishment has been given a bad name in this country, but can still work as it did for millennia and continues to do in parts of the USA, E Europe, SE Asia etc.
