Not important, but I do like to make people laugh when I can

It's necessary to have a sense of humour if you have a shitty life, you're fucked if you don't.
Valentine · M
@SW-User I like this. Heading for BA!

Making people laugh means a lot to me. It’s an important part of who I am.
Valentine · M
@LyricalOne Good for you. Tis important, methinks.

SW-User
Meh. People think I am anyway

Not really so long as I'm laughing. Problem is, which is twice as noticible on here, is everyone has a different sense of humour so you can't really please everyone anyway
Valentine · M
@sdfdgsfasfdgsfasdasfsdgds well, fook'em, is what I say, and if they persist, block'em!! Life's too short. 😢

Not every minute...🤣 I really do love making people laugh, but I have a serious side, and I don't feel obligated to be everyones' circus.

Yes, gotta be good at something.
Valentine · M
@pennynoodles .... I'm working, honest Mrs N.... 🤞

I think i learned early on in life that a sense of humour certainly 'shields' you from a lot of negativity in the world.
If you have the ability to use humour in order to reduce tension in any given situation,that really is a skill.
Is it important i'm considered funny ?......Only to my Grandchildren.

Be nice, but it’s ok if not
indyjoe · 56-60, M
Only when I'm trying to be...nothing like trying to add a little humor and laying an egg😣
Nope.
I manage once in a while, something very dry. When the listener catches it, it's delicious fun.
But then, I have serious fun being serious, so don't mind a lack of jokes.

It would be nice. But humor doesn't run in my family on both paternal or maternal side.
Valentine · M
@SW-User I hadn't thought of it being genetic. More nurtured, I would have thought.

SW-User
@Valentine Well nurturing ought to come from somewhere right?
Valentine · M
@SW-User maybe, who knows.

SW-User
If I’m hanging out with people, I like them to get my humor, so yeah. To an extent, it’s important to me. I like laughing with other people.

SW-User
I love my sense of humor n I crack myself often.. 😁

It’s an important part of who I am. Most friends would described me as funny, sarcastic and a bit of a badass.
