I wouldn't say "hide" necessarily, but there are things I choose not to disclose. The fact that I'm a nudist, and some of my personal interests and beliefs as well. I'm not ashamed of these, It's just that most of these people would not understand nor accept them. I just choose to keep certain things to myself and on a need to know basis in order to curtail controversy and conflict.

Sure it's necessary. My mother can't handle my bipolar disorder, some friends cannot handle any vulgarity or having their beliefs in this or that arena disagreed with. Sexuality is something I mostly keep to myself.

I pretty much hide everything from my family. I've never felt comfortable with talking with them so family visits are usually very quiet visits.
yup, where i live, and the deepest darkest most fucked up parts of me, and simply because it's none of their business. they aren't part of my life.
