There’s nothing you can do to stop it, so embrace it with all your heart

SW-User
@Controller So true... I will try embracing it ☺
SweetMae · 70-79, F
Find your own beauty, the beauty that reside in your soul and shines forth for others to see. Be kind to yourself. You can't do the things you once did. Never use that for an excuse to stop doing the things that you can. Eat well, exercise and drink plenty of water. Enjoy the small pleasures in life. Give of yourself to help others. And smile a lot. Keep everyone guessing what you are really doing!! 😊

SW-User
@SweetMae Lovely response and suggestions. Thank you ☺

Walk. Great exercise and helps you keep fit.
Listen to music. Remember your youth and celebrate it !
Research parts of the world that interest you.
Grow plants or flowers or vegetables. Nothing tastes better than something from your own garden !
Learn to dance ! Whatever style you like !

It's mental. If you think you're 'old', then you'll act and feel that way. Remember what made you feel alive when you were younger and try to recreate that feeling. Good rest, exercise, and eating well go a long way, too.

SW-User
@BDPP00 This is so true...And thank you for the tips☺
SagePoet · 70-79, M
It's a fact that I am the age I am, tips to cope...? just take it with a grain of salt don't pay to stress it something you can't change

SW-User
@SagePoet It's stressful though and sadly age prejudice exists - not least for women
SagePoet · 70-79, M
yes prejudice because of ones age, sad, age discrimination especially for jobs and against women.@SW-User

SW-User
@SagePoet It's been painful! I'm trying to learn from those who manage this well☺
CathyUK · 56-60, F
Keep interested and try new things, small things even, try and keep yourself well and if possible do some exercise and also pamper yourself.

SW-User
@CathyUK Love the pampering myself idea☺

@MrBrownstone yes apparently it balances pH levels..interesting!
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@metaldog Exactly. If there is a lot of acid in your body,cancer grows. Balance it out and it prevents/cures it.
metaldog · 51-55, F
@MrBrownstone yes I've heard this before. If I had cancer cells I'd certainly be trying this method
Zonuss · 46-50, M
Exercise. Drink plenty of water. Take walks. Avoid negavitity at all costs. Eat some fruits and veggies. And just enjoy life. ☺

SW-User
@penguinswon It was for me though☺
penguinswon · M
no doubt. I tend to believe people who've been through it tho
Hasmita · M
@penguinswon Short answer is no.
Taking care of health vital at any age but I wondered if original question was about psychological aspects of aging. In which case nutrition, water, exercise and spiritual nourishment.

Fill the "bucket list"....:-) I am old...and that's what I am attempting to do....just filling it slower than I used to...lol.
Giana · 80-89, F
If I don't look in the mirror, I have no idea how old I am

SW-User
@Giana Me neither even looking in the mirror. It's the reactions from others that I find difficult

Find a toy boy 😂

SW-User
@SW-User Haha! ;)

You seem young at heart which is what matters most. Staying around younger people and I don't mean in a weird way. Learning something completely new helps and a new excercise routine.

SW-User
@smileylovesgaming Don't younger men want young women? ☺
smileylovesgaming · 31-35, F
@SW-User not all men
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@smileylovesgaming A lot of younger men are attracted to older women especially now. Youd be surprise.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
Why are you enjoying it. Is it a personal issue. I think women to be honest with you get better with age. And a lot of that has to do with maturity and their spiritual growth. I think that you are just going through a phase. But as time goes on, you will come to terms with whatever is really going on and have acceptance. Life isn't all that bad, especially if everything is going your way. Best wishes.

@Zonuss Awww thanks for this Zonuss☺
