Genuine question for the lgbt community.

I dont believe any of the stereotypes but does it ever get annoying to see someone basically acting exactly like them?

Tbh whenever im out with my gf everyone just assumes we're mates.
Were not openly affectionate like that nor do we wear our sexuality on our sleeves.
We dont hide it. We just feel the need to use it as a conversation starter or thats it primary to our personalities
Even work mates assumed i was straight until one time i mentioned what i did at the weekend with my gf
People do use it as a this is me limp hand kinda thing though
