Thatdudebishop222 · 36-40, M
@Lilnonames Oddly enough, i put one on the front of my house just because of this reason. I didnt know they made ones that tiggered to a voice until the other day. The one i got only triggers to motion. I may need to think about returning this one an upgrading. I didnt really think about it until now. Thanks

If it were me, I definitely would relocate to a place which is cosmopolitan and accepts all types.
Possibly no place is 100% LGBTQ-friendly.
Assuming you like a quiet life, I'm guessing you might like rural -
but one can live quietly in inner city areas despite the background hum of traffic and the blasts of advertising and rush in the streets.
Northern Rivers Region (Far North Coast NSW, Australia) has the largest percentage of LGBTQI people in any rural area. I have neighbours who choose to be "discreet" and experience no problems and a great deal of acceptance. I'm sure there'd be similar rural areas in California, Oregon and upstate New York, and in most western countries.
I asked a local redneck truckie what he thought of the gay couples who ran the general store and the café in our nearest hamlet. He replied, "I don't care what they do in private so long as they don't try it on me" - knowing that they never would.
Although it's not just or fair that one can't walk the world just as one is in perfect freedom, unfortunately, safety places (for all citizens) have always existed in only a few places and only for a few decades at a time. Homo sapiens as a whole is not a nice species.

Cameras are cheap these days..... personal protection is important as well.

@Notanymore Im well protected, believe that. I am not a fighter but i discovered at an early age that i can throw hands better then 90% of people. I just try to avoid violence at all cost. more cameras is definantly a must tho.
Notanymore · 41-45, M
@Thatdudebishop222 yes, good. And I'm not pushing my opinions too much(I hope), but hands are generally woefully inadequate to be considered personal protection when it really matters. Be careful out there

Try filming it
Then you have proof
Then you have proof
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@Strictmichael75 Yeah, definitely do that instead of what I advised. You're much less likely to get in trouble.

I've been dealing with some of this weird stuff too them hacking into my devices and doing stuff and having other people follow me around and have them doing weird things or just acting weird. I did relocate a few times but it is still going on and the cops never do shit they start to act like you're the problem. I have no advice because I haven't been able to make it stop either.
Notanymore · 41-45, M
@Lostpoet sounds like you may should consider personal protection too.
Lostpoet · M
@Notanymore I don't need protection. I just feel bad for the person that I finally lose my control on.
Notanymore · 41-45, M
@Lostpoet hopefully it's as simple as that. There's a lot of possibilities that could make it more terrible. Just be careful.

Not gonna read all that but you probably deserve it

It's a tricky situation. And it sucks. I live rural and maintaining peace with the neighbors matters a little more than in a city. First, and I'm sure you know this, it has nothing to do with you personally. It's an insecure man who, more than likely, is battling his own gay thoughts and needs to fight against it. He's weak.
My thinking is that if you're tight enough with one your neighbors to bring it up them, that might not be the worst call. If most are cool then that probably means they see his behavior as bullshit. Maybe one of them is a little closer to that guy and can tell him to chill. Short of that, he gets on your property then you are well within your rights to call but I have a feeling just confronting with "What's your fucking problem bud" will slow him way down. Those types of guys crumble when confronted. But trying another method first is a better call. Good luck.

@Ynotisay Thats exactly why i havent went balls to the wall and hunted this dude down because with as extreme as it has gotten, i would probably lay him out the moment i got close enough and Im not even a violent person. Im more worried about guys like that who have a little power. They could literally ruin your life with a simple lie. You know how those thin blue line guys are, they all got eachothers back even if all of them have to lie to protect one of them, even if he is in the wrong. You knw what i mean? Its dangerous. I have a 14 almost 15 year old daughter and ive recently "come all the way out". It hasnt been a good experiance, let me tell ya. Im not even out for blood or nothing like that i just want him to stop. Hes tricky tho, ive tried catching him off guard by moving my camera to a different stop in the middle of the night so he didnt see it but i still got nothing as far as footage. Ive even left windows open in the dead of winter to try and hear it quicker so i can get outside and see who/what is around. I was told that the local sheriffs department has a fleet of high tech drones that the officers are allowed to take home off duty so ive been on the look out even tho i really dont know what im looking for. lol. IDK im exhusting all efforts rather quickly tho. thats why i decided to turn here for some advice. Thanks for your opinion and advice. its much appreciated.

@Thatdudebishop222 It just sucks when one deranged, weak person has any influence over others. Are you sure he's a cop though? You said Sheriff's Dept. so maybe he's just pushing a pencil. But if do you get some video evidence I can't imagine too many departments would appreciate something like that going online, you know? Hope it works out for you man. Bad juju around the house isn't a good feeling. Just try to make him invisible. But if pushes it, especially on your property, you've got options. Good luck with it.

Are you lgbtq or something?

Pay attention to what style shoes he wears when he's not at work. Buy a pair just like them, but a size smaller, then wait until he's at work and sneak them into his house.
Then shoot him in the face.
Then shoot him in the face.
Notify the Sheriff's office upper command that one of their staff is illegally harrassing you, and that if they don't put a stop to it you will be contacting a lawyer.
