Is it ok that I want to wear a dress most days?

I was bullied at my lower school aged about 6 or 7 and one of the ways I used to find comfort and feel safe was when I used to go round to my friends house after school and play dress up where I used to wear her princess dresses mainly. The problem is now that I feel like doing it again. I have had some therapy and that seemed to help but my urges are getting stronger again. Is this normal or should I seek further help. Thank you

Cross-dressing is very common, so don't think it something needing "therapy" that is anyway likely to be therapeutic only to the therapist's bank-balance.

Whether you need keep it discrete and within the privacy of your own home, as some cross-dressers do, is for you to decide; but you are by no means alone.

It does seem an urge that ebbs and flows over time, and I have heard of some men building up sizeable private wardrobes only suddenly to turn against it and get rid of the lot; but possibly inch back towards it again perhaps a few years later. Your experience may match that.

@ArishMell and if one could create the swap for ones turned in for ones that are needed, we have a great community service...someone in a small town can say, 'hey I used to wear that'...to someone in front of them at the donut shop

@atlantic59 I like that idea!
