Coming out early in my childhood

Coming out early in my childhood was something that was a struggle. One was because of my dad pressuring me to stay male.Mom noticed I acted feminine a lot at age 5 seeing I wanted to be one of the girls.Beiing the oldest of 3 brother,I first tried on girl's clothes at age 10 and loved it.It was on certain days I did this. Finally at age 13,came out to my mom that I wanted to dress as a girl enjoying the girl's clothes more. She listened and did it with help of a therapist.Saw a huge positive change in me after that, was much happier.Dad,he wanted his oldest son back and did take time for him to accept that he had a much happier daughter. To this day,I am well loved and accepted and loved as a big sister and daughter

Is good for you, the first time I know I can feel this way for girls is maybe 14 or 15, but in Poland and very catholic family and community is not possible. The first time I have this experience is I am 23, first relationship I am 25 and the first time in relationship I tell to my parents about is I am 30!

I am so glad your mother accepted you, and got you into therapy so your transition would go smoothly. Also very glad to hear that your father eventually came around as well; far too often, transition causes estrangement. ❤️💜💙💚💛🧡
I'm glad that mom had you address it with a therapist to make sure it was true, and not a fad. Coming out can be a rough road to follow.

She learned a lot after I started dressing as a girl.Used the pronouns she,her and herself around me.Plus she called me Ashley too.Still does this.

I have been much happier ever since.I remember going to formal events wearing the suit and tie watching mom come out wearing a dress and heels.Knew I wanted to be like her.Mom remembers me walking out wearing a dress and heels at age 14 a year after coming out getting ready to leave for a wedding.Saw me much happier and said I looked good.
