I didn't even know those terms, I've heard butch as a derogatory term for a husky woman not necessarily lesbian.

Oh this drives me so crazy, when I was with my girlfriend, people would be like, "Oh so you're both lipstick lesbians?" And then on other days, "Oh so you're more of a tomboy, huh?" And my personal favorite, "So which one of you is the guy?"
