Why do ppl label us Lesbian as Butch, Femme or Lipstick?

Why can't we just be women loving women, why divide us into categories, are straight ppl categorized like this are Gay split into categories like that too... I just wonder, cause I could not put myself in a category, I'm just a woman who love woman and that finds all women beautiful...

Exactly. Easier to group on a larger scale, identify, opressed and control, render unchecked injustices. Underneath you'll always find irrational fear and its sidekick, greed.
