Seeing as it's Pride Month, I'd like to share a story of my best friend

I've been friends with him since we were both eight years old. I was one of the first people he came out to as gay. He was scared his friends and family (the latter of which were/are very homophobic) would reject him. He hated himself. He tried to turn to religious conservation to "cure" himself. Needless to say it didn't work.

Years later after he got a decent paying job and lived on his own, he became so scared of his family and this conservative town we grew up would hate him or worse. It culminated in him attempting suicide by overdose. I fortunately found out and stayed with him that night to make sure he doesn't hurt himself.

At the suggestion of myself, I recommended he see a psychologist (he has Generalised Anxiety Disorder) and she agreed with me that he should just come out.

He came out and while his family wasn't too chuffed, they accepted it. He's now much happier and has a boyfriend.

But when you bully someone for being gay, bi or trans, coupled with real life bigotry, they could do something bad to themselves. Maybe think bid that before attacking LGBT people or spreading hate or simply just downvoting their posts. There's a human being like you on the other end. They just like something you don't.

What about being bullied for being christian? Christians have been murdered, and so have Jews, My hope is in my faith and I have joy regardless of bullying from my family and elsewhere. Why would I be suicidal because I am bullied? No I sincerely believe there is a Satanic movement a deception that produces depression cutting behaviors confusion who one is, and suicidal hopeless feelings. It is what Jesus said "Do not be deceived" it is a Satanic deception in the last generation before he comes back.

I can't stand the types of people who have something against gay people, they're always messed up in one way or the other. Maybe they're insecure, maybe they're angry and looking for any reason to beat up some person, or maybe they're really uneducated and think that gay people spread disease. No peaceful, intelligent person, will ever care about who other people choose to sleep with, even in cultures which are unaccepting of homosexuality.

It's so much nicer and liberating to love people than to attack them for appearing different but many are brought up in a culture of negativity. Thanks for posting.

People should not worry about what people do in their bedroom.
