@Convivial The score certainly is in the public domain, but many recordings are copyrighted intellectual property of some entity other than either LvB or his publishers (Breitkopf u. Härtel for the works assigned "opus" numbers, or Clementi--typically--for those without ["WoO", "Werke ohne Opuszahl"]).
@Punxi Any avid participant in some endeavor typically DOES have more than a passing familiarity, and (thus) develops a set of favorite <whatever>s, the catalog to which you refer, whether some or many.
@Punxi Why, thank you for such a very positive observation! I hope that my general demeanor tends to support the data in favor of such a conclusion. 😊
You have surprised me in a good way, and that happens less than it ought; thank you. 😊😊😊
And--as an aside--you are also the first user whose chosen nom de plume here keeps reminding me of a famed rodent to whom foreknowledge of the weather has been ascribed. 😉
I'm just going to pretend to be deaf and tell them that I thought I was downloading Sunday school videos. "why would I steal music your honor when I can't even hear it" 🙄 But I will write each of you in prison and put money on your books
