@Bumbles Thats true.
DogMan · 61-69, M
@Bumbles Please be specific. Are you talking about Biden, or Trump?

JSul3 · 70-79
Remember, Trump filed for bankruptcy several times.

Trump is a loser and a fraud.
JSul3 · 70-79
@DogMan You are confusing party labels with ideals.

"Conservative" former Confederates began the KKK. "Conservative" Democrats opposed the Civil Rights and Voting Rights Act and became Republicans.

Today's 'conservative' Republicans seem intent on restricting free access to the ballot box, banning books, and taking away personal freedoms.

Conservative = close minded....one way only.
Liberal = open minded...open to various ways.
DogMan · 61-69, M
@JSul3 Or you could look at it like this.

Conservative = Using tried and true methods that work.
Liberal = trying different methods, without comprehensive analysis.

PS, trying to stop mail in ballots, and the potential problems, is not
restricting free access. it limits cheating.

They have never "Banned" a book. Banning means take out of print
and destroy all copies. They just want to keep porn, out of schools.
that is NOT banning!
JSul3 · 70-79
@DogMan Suggest you visit the Ruby Red State of Utah web site. Read about mail in ballots and voter registration. It should be the template for national vote by mail.

Got proof of voter fraud? Tell it to the judge.

Removing books from a library is BANNING it from the shelves in that building. Suggest you read some of the titles/books first before you follow the right wing fascists talking points.
If you don't want your kid reading a book, tell them they can't, but don't take that right away from others.
The modern day "Robber Baron": A person who has become rich through ruthless and unscrupulous business practices.

(Originally with reference to prominent businessmen in the late 19th century.)
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
He claimed that his NY penthouse was three times its actual size and then argued that calculating the area was "subjective" 🤦‍♀️
Convivial · 26-30, F
@SunshineGirl in a post facts world everything is subjective....too much Red Queen from Alice ;)
Patriot96 · 56-60, C
@SunshineGirl it is the job of lenders to audit any statements
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
@Patriot96 And it is the job of any halfway decent human being not to lie through their teeth and destroy good faith as part of a business strategy. In the UK what he has done would unambiguously be a criminal offence. At the very least he should not be surprised if the other boys no longer want to play ball with him ⚽

@Fairydust Exactly
DogMan · 61-69, M
@JSul3 But only the Rightwing crooks, right?
JSul3 · 70-79
@DogMan No.
The Dems are working to force corrupt Menendez out. They kicked Franken out over some pictures. They do reject their own.

The NY GOP seem to finally be trying to get Santos removed. We shall see.
Don't hear a word from Repubs wanting Menendez kicked out. Why?

He said, yes, I have massive amounts of money.
I have so much money I don’t even need your money!
But you’ll give it to me because my ideas are the best…. Much better than yourideas

From Insider com

The Trump 'haircut': Yes, Deutsche Bank really used this term in reducing what Trump said he was worth.

Worth the read on how Deutsche Bank valued Trump's worth.
DogMan · 61-69, M
@JSul3 Did they just take his word for it? That is always foolish.
JSul3 · 70-79
@DogMan No. The article details what they did.

I suck at posting links.
I got tbis from my daily news source,

Yeah and Biden is a multi millionaire on a senate salary 🙄..... The fucking crooked ass
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
Where's he going to defraud from...I mean , work from, now.
JSul3 · 70-79
Trump goes into a bank seeking a loan. He shows his portfolio to the bankers, stating inflated worth of his properties.

Come tax time, Trump places undervalued worth of these same properties in order to avoid paying taxes.

That is fraud.
DogMan · 61-69, M
@NativePortlander1970 The funny thing is that Trump came out of office with less money.

Everyone else comes out with far more than they ever had.

People on the left say Trump just did it for the money.

When in reality, he is one of the only ones that really DID NOT do it for money.
novaguy2u · 70-79, M
Who would have thought, indeed!
And he would have gotten away with it, too, if he hadn't decided to run for president.

Seriously, why the fuck are we not looking at our nation's CEOs with this level of scrutiny?
Convivial · 26-30, F
@LordShadowfire interesting question, and maybe, just maybe the start of a trend...
No surprise there, considering the judge's political affiliation.
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
@NativePortlander1970 A deaf shih tzu with cataracts would have come to the same judgement. The guy is a schmuck.
Convivial · 26-30, F
@NativePortlander1970 so you're saying he was found guilty not on the evidence but because the judge is biased?
@Convivial Here is the funny thing, for decades before Trump ran on the republican ticket for president, he was a darling of the left, everyone from Oprah, to Jesse Jackson, to Barack Obama, was praising him, even Bill and Hillary hung around him, everyone loved Trump and his show, the apprentice. But as soon as he announced running in 2015, all of a sudden he was evil orange man, they accused him of everything they could think of, creating new shit out of thin air in the Steele Dossier. That so called "evidence" is fabricated by the establishment in just another attempt to keep Trump from regaining the white house. So yes, the judge is biased.
