I’ve just been stiffed £250ish on school uniforms ready for September…

@WintaTheAngle That was the main purpose of our school uniform. We even had to wear them when we went into town on Saturday to stop us from getting into trouble 🙂

@WintaTheAngle When I was at school in the 60s and early 70s we had no trouble identifying the pupils whose parents were poor or uncaring. Hand me downs, frayed cuffs, shirts not washed as often as they should have been, etc. And as for being identified by members of the public if they become separated from the group, well children should be taught from a very early age to identify themselves. My children's school photos look fine to me, all clean, self confident, and neatly dressed.

@V00doo No fun is it? My two outgrow clothes faster than we can get them. I’m just going to buy them clothes for 16 year olds and they can wear them until they fit.
