That’s exactly what it’s about. They want consequence-free speech. Our First Amendment, here in the U.S. only protects freedom (in most but not all cases) from being imprisoned for one’s speech. It doesn’t mean you can’t be fired, sued for libel or slander, or face any other kind of backlash by those who disagree.

Exactly, and sadly, these people do, most of the time, evade the consequences for their brand of free speech.

There's no such thing as free speech because every action has a consequence.
You might like to think you have no responsibility for that consequence, but you do.

@BritishFailedAesthetic the point like I've already explained is that those who vocally say they are for free speech don't their views challenged and want to express any potentially bigoted views without any consequences.
@Guitarman123 'consequences' being your key word here, what consequences should they face?
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@BritishFailedAesthetic if someone expresses anti trans or anti feminist views they should face the consequences of those opinions by having them heavily criticised as such backward attitudes are poisonous.

Yes. There are always consequences. I just want them to be for the person who spoke. But truth in reporting events should always be a solid defence..😷

In Jacobin - a publication -they came out in favor of the obvious+ a public Internet. It's definitely a government responsibility.
But nobody sees that here except weirdos like me - okay only me. Maybe not even me. Okay - p unless you're me you don't know nothing about no public nothing. That's communist. I'm the only communist in left.
