GOP seeking budget cuts to assist with defunding the FBI and DOJ

So my question is: what are they hoping to achieve by cutting the FBIs operating budget? It takes time and resources to investigate crimes. With less funding and resources less crimes get investigated.
Same goes for the DOJ.

Why might the GOP want less crimes to be investigated?

If the FBI, the DOJ, our Air Defense System, and other Alphabet Federal Agencies were so vital; Someone needs to ask them about Cointelpro, the Iran Contra Scandal, Operation Encore, and Operation Northwoods...

• Why is it that they're so desperate that no one know the truth about the Kennedy Assassinations?!
• Why did they fail to deter the 1993 💣 Bombing of the WTC?!
• Why did they fail detering the 1998 Bombings of the US Embassies in Tanzania and Somalia?!
• How did they fail to get Intel before the USS Cole Attack in the Gulf of Oman near Yemen?!
• How is it that their policies utterly failed 4 times during the morning 🌅🌄 of September 11th 2001?!
• Why is it that the FBI didn't want the truth to come out about the 9/11 Attacks true perpetrators and their motives?!
• How is it that the FBI is desperate that the truth not come out about the US Government's gross negligence and utter incompetence during the morning 🌅🌄 of September 11th 2001?!
• How is it that they failed during the Boston Marathon Bombing?!

If these are the successes of the FBI and other Government Agencies, God Forbid if we ever find out their utter failures

Normally I would support that, but given their reasons and the fact they were their biggest supporters when they were the most unhinged and dangerous I can't support their cause.
