Have you as an adult ever come to the realization that you were abused as a child when you thought it was just normal? Like being beaten?

@Uncfred It's considered abuse now. Baby boomers got beaten with belts and then got warned they'd be abusers, subject to CPS, if they dared do the same when they had kids. Lose-Lose situation.

@Uncfred Yeah, well, back in biblical times, it was considered acceptable to beat your slaves within an inch of their lives, but that doesn't mean it's okay.
