So Ian Watkins was killed

Personally, I never pray for souls. My understanding is that at the moment of death that’s it: whatever decision you’ve made you get what you asked for. A life with God or a life without. Of course everything is forgivable, but it has to be in the context of true repentance and accepting that you deserve the death that Jesus took for you. I know you’re not denying this, but earthly justice does need to be seen through. Murder is murder, no matter who the victim is and there is now at least one of the person who needs to seek forgiveness, because it doesn’t come automatically.

Imagine how Jesus felt, and he was a very good man who had harmed no one. However, you did the right thing, and if he found God and repented his sins, then he has suffered enough

God will absolutely not forgive anyone unless they come to Christ. His soul has arrived at his destination and your prayers will accomplish nothing for it.

As far as I know he didn't come to Christ and his never dying soul is paying for what he did.

As a Christian i do not pray for the dead.. Nothing i say to God will change their eternal outcome..

I do not know who Ian Watkins is.. I hope he was saved by the LORD Jesus..

Wasn't he stabbed? I understand you, but I have a problem believing your God would forgive what he did. I thought God forgives the repentant soul. Watkins tried for early parole from his 29 year sentence, so that tells me he wasn't repentant at all. He just wanted to get out of jail. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Another prison justice death due to harming children. Those who are in prison who have been sexually abused never forget.

God forgives everything?

If God is there, he can be judged in the Afterlife by God's laws.
Here on Earth, he abused children as young as infants.
He got what was coming to him in this world.
No sympathy.

Even god don’t want that mess..
