TV writer arrested by five armed police upon landing in airport over a Tweet

Actual crimes being overlooked so that the police can act as arbiters of cultural agendas instead.

Inciting trans hatred and harassment (which is he has been charged with) are criminal offences in the UK. The police have interpreted a currently controversial area of law as best as they can. It is up to parliament to act if those laws need changing. In the meantime, we cannot pick and choose which laws we obey.

@Bumbles Regardless of "their country, their laws", actual violent crimes that pose real dangers get far less immediate attention. It's also my country, and I'm allowed to express my disquiet at people being arrested in my country for expressing opinions on an online platform.
@Bumbles Well this is the country that tried banning Kareem Dennis from London claiming his music was literal terrorism.
When the Dems culled the internet to remove all info making them look bad, Americans all together said nothing, and so, like yup! Twitter obliged and you are attacking Russia! No problem with those other things we do not know!
