I Think Australia was the Right Idea!

Instead of building prisons, we should just establish a criminal society in some area isolated from those of us who wish to lead peaceful lives. The Moon would work! Maybe the Southern polar region if the first is technically impractical.

The trouble with that is, eventually, the criminals will revolt and establish their own society. The good news is, they'll be on another celestial body when they do so.

@LordShadowfire No revolt needed, leave them to their own devices and let them form whatever society suits them. Just leave the rest of us out of it.
