@Snowbelle Yes,the actor who played Mick Dundee back in the '80s did a great job in those movies - which were worldwide hits back then - but of course he pretty much exaggerated the accent to fit the character he portrayed.I've had a few Americans say "good day mate" to me,but it usually comes out something like "good die meet"!
