Australia and British people. What does Bloke mean?

I have been watching a lot of Australian and British movies and they say "Bloke" a lot. What does it mean and why do you guys talk so funny?

It's simply old slang word for "man", along with "chap" and "fellow" (oft. pron. "fella"" though these latter two have a slightly posher associations.

Equivalent I suppose to the American slang, "guy", which has sadly drifted over the seas and become used for males and females of any age. I refuse to obey.

As for talking "so funny", who invented the language, eh...? :-)
@ArishMell He's just salty because Americans took English and added their own weird words to it... 🤣🤣🤣
