@Crazychick
As you know there are hundreds of french words in the English language and there are Greek words as well.
English is not a pure language.

Dalmate is actually a french word, it is more used in the context of
la côte dalmate
The dalmatian coast and the people from the area are refered to as Dalmates and not dalmatians.

@Longleggedlady So why is their local dog called a Dalmatian?
2cool4school · 46-50, F
@Crazychick you must be playing dumb. I can’t imagine how you could live this long being as “terminally stupid” as you seem to enjoy portraying!! Bait and troll much ??!!

@2cool4school As you can see I gave up trying to educate once I came to the conclusion that she is obtuse.
There is another word for a question for her.

@Longleggedlady A wise move.

@2cool4school same as the person I tried to explain to in Paris that he was saying eggs instead of egg because he was adding the s to the word and that the French start counting with their thumb as one, so if you hold up your index finger you are going to get two. He ended up with 4 eggs on each roll and two cups of coffee.
