What is a big word in your language that is a small word in English language?

“Vaðlaheiðarvegavinnuverkfærageymsluskúrslyklakippuhringurinn.“ It’s a compound word and basically means “key ring” for like a tool work shed in English.

@AthrillatheHunt lol, those aren't silent. That first group is actually an ij, which sounds completely different from an i. The second group is a simple e, and the third one isn't there at all. 😅
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@NerdyPotato you have a good sense of humor . You okay in my book Phoenix

Ugh. My exhausted mind can’t think of any atm. The opposite is easier for me.

For example the word ‘language’ is composed of 8 letters whereas its Arabic equivalent لغة has 3 letters only. That’s often the case. English words are unnecessarily long. Lol

I know this isn't a particularly small word in English, but the word for photography in the Irish language is grianghrafadóireachta
