Is this not a good joke?

I'll be working for 24 hours on the weekend covering for a colleague. They'll be doing my Monday in exchange. So after agreeing to this, they said "have a good weekend" and it made me laugh because I thought they meant it ironically. As I'll be working. So I replied to them with "💀💀💀.....you too but for real :D"

And I got no response. 😭 Help me I can't stop cringing at myself.
