Climate is changing. It will however take alot of time since it's a large process.

@espoir how are you? :)
espoir · 36-40, F
@littlepuppywantanewlife still waiting for the global warming to hit in.
@espoir I think it will take many years I guess way more time then I can even survive.
espoir · 36-40, F
@littlepuppywantanewlife to me it's all a hoax

@espoir first global warming is just a part of climate change. Second if you hadn't noticed, the weather is already showing some effects, for example, we are having increasing numbers of severe weather,
espoir · 36-40, F
@samueltyler2 Stop with that nonsense. The weather hasn't changed more than normal
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@espoir good luck if that is what you think! There is vast data showing that is not the case, we are having more extremes than in the history of weather statistics. Droughts, floods, tornados are all seen more common than before. Do a little research in real science.
espoir · 36-40, F
@samueltyler2 I have done lots of research

@espoir i am on a zoom call regarding limiting emissions now, i will look at the video later, but you do know that the overwhelming opinions n of professional climatologists are worried, and the predictions made 20 years ago of where we would be now, have turned out to be too optimistic, we are in even worse shape.
espoir · 36-40, F
@samueltyler2 don't believe that tripe. Thank you
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@espoir as i said, good luck to you, luckily, you are in the minority, and don't have the decision-making power to alter the trajectory to try to decrease emissions, pollution and climate change.
espoir · 36-40, F
@samueltyler2 unlucky for me.. but at least I have the sense to not need funding to keep up the lies, false alarmism and fake news about the climate.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@espoir wake up.
espoir · 36-40, F
@samueltyler2 Stop with your alarmism.. I'm already awake , it's you who need to cop on.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@espoir tell that to those people caught in the floods, the so called 100 year floods, to those starving because of drought. I won't argue with you, you just need to read the scientific literature.
espoir · 36-40, F
@samueltyler2 Stop with your bullshit

@samueltyler2 how do you propose we reduce global emissions and pollution *without* infringing on people's lives? Or is it inevitable that we will suffer much in the present and the immediate future while people like you pursue a goal that may be unattainable and therefore pointless?
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@SW-User either we adapt now, "suffer a little," or the sufferring continues to escalate, eventually making much of the earth uninhabitable.
espoir · 36-40, F
@samueltyler2 lol, you alarmist choke me up , hahahah
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@espoir maybe if you choked enough you would understand what you anti-scientists are creating for those who can't me after we are gone! I am not an alarmist, i am both a scientist and a realist.
espoir · 36-40, F
@samueltyler2 I am a scientist too and all you climate alarmist are full of BS . Only time will tell.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@espoir we will be dead by then. Meanwhile the drought in some countries, and in some US states, has impacted on availability of water for crops and drinking! In contrast, the flooding in other places has already cost loss of lives and property and is quickly making some areas unliveable.
espoir · 36-40, F
@samueltyler2 Stop with the lies and BS. hahaha
