I guess in some situations.
Our condo has a shared internet provider (don't ask... they think it's high tech). So I use a VPN through a special router to connect.
Airports. Yes. VPN.
Connecting through other countries to watch country-restricted items sometimes works. A lot of popular VPNs get blocked so you have to keep switching servers.

If security is a big issue, then a VPN by all means.

Where else would you install it?
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@MarkPaul you could install it on a smart router but i doubt that's where he was heading lol

Absolutely no idea 😂😂

If you wish to watch stuff blocked in Britain…yes.
Or those streaming sites that mean you don’t have to pay for tv shows from places you have to pay for.
I never watch those😅
Le VPN and Surfshark are good.

Probably not unless your ISP blocks a site you want to visit.
I use one on my mobile because a lot of public WiFi networks block anything even vaguely porn-like.

It depends where you go, what you want to say and what you want to see and if it's worth being anonymous to you

on a PC..? That's how most people use it. If you have to ask then just know that it won't protect your privacy, it takes more than just installing an application for that, but it might help you get around blocked content

I don't trust VPNs, as far as we know they could be surveillance tools for the NSA.

@NativePortlander1970 why would you fear it .unless you have something to hide
@cherokeepatti What scares me the most is that if the dems retake the house, and how they ignore BinBiden's sniffery, and ignored Jackson's soft on pedos stance and rulings during her SCOTUS hearings, that they will legalize the most henous of all pornographies and repeal all age of consent laws on the federal level, look at how California just passed a bill allowing a 10 year "consent" gap.
@jackrabbit10 Personally I don't use them as I have nothing to hide, I just don't trust them.
