Anyone still have an old Hotmail account? It's been getting spammed to death in the past month...

I have a Yahoo account and experience the same thing. A month or so ago started getting a huge amount of spam. I don't. Think it is the provider so much as the spammers finding new ways to bother us.

I had one in like 2011 and I totally forgot my username and password so it's gone forever. I may be able to extract it from my old EP messages which I have backed up. Besides that I been using yahoo mail since 2008 and yea it isn't exactly as secure as Google when it comes to spam. Google has the best spam filters ever. I actually changed all my paid services from Yahoo to Gmail just to be safe.

I did used to have an Excite email, but then they took away their email completely 2 years ago. Excite.com was around the same time as Yahoo, but I don't think it was that well off. I think the website is still around.

I just tried setting it to "Only trust messages from my Safe Senders list" or some such. We'll see.

Well, it's not spam city, but it gets enough spam that goes right to spam... except for a few that make no sense how they end up in the "in" box instead of spam. lol
I still like it better than Yahoo Yapoo!
