Is Google down for everyone? I've been using it on my backup laptop, and this morning I had brief flashing notes saying Google coupons had crashed. [I Love Internet]

But it appears the entire site is not working. (For me, anyway)

I should note that Microsoft did an update for the secondary laptop two days ago, and since then I have horrible and annoying Cortana popups that will NOT stop even though I don't want to activate Cortana on this old laptop, and it changed my internet security.

No issue with Google but having some work internet related issues that we were told is attributable to Verizon east coast outage issues

@TrunkZ That could be it. We had high winds yesterday. This morning when I opened the laptop the wait until ready circle would not stop at first...and the laptop simply would not load. Wifi signal was flashing in tandem with the wait till ready circle.

@SW-User That's the only way the settings box even came up...I typed it into the search field next to start up. But it will not open. It just shuts itself off after a few minutes before loading.

I give up. It got really bad for a while...the apps seemed to be crashing. They all had error boxes.
