Whoever thought of selling water in stores for $3 a bottle is a real genius. What did people do in the 1970s and 80s?

Just drank tap water.

Thig about bottled water is it has minerals in it so it tastes like metal, AND those minerals offset the hydration properties of the water. Scam.

@Matt85 I just have a filter on the faucet. Seems to help.

Of course water delivered to our homes shouldn't NEED filtering in the first place.

In the '70s and '80s we drank water at home. Where I come from and everywhere I have lived the water from the tap has been perfectly drinkable and where I live now it's excellent.

We weren't obsessed with hydration

We drank a lot less water. I still drink tap water, filtered. Of course, in my childhood, we drank water straight from the garden hose.

People drank water from the tap.
Those dastardly marketeers convinced the public that bottle water was healthier and the public fell for it.
I have never bought a bottle of water, thus far.

tap water can be pretty nasty
