@Punxi I don’t need everyone to like me because that’s unattainable for anyone but why act awful towards a person online. It’s silly and immature. I am here to laugh and make connections. I have said things I shouldn’t have but I have apologized for it.

@iamonfire696 No guru but study such behavior academically. Many situations in our society offer an opportunity for such behavior. An online, anonymous forum creates a ideal one. Statistically and unfortunately, as I speak of our gender; its women in search of hierarchy that gather such " cliques " blindly recruiting men to further their efforts.

@SW-User thank you for saying that. I have stupidly cried over some things here in the past 2 days and losing my grandma hasn’t helped me. It just really puts things into perspective. I don’t know why anyone would put forth so much negative energy towards someone.

@iamonfire696 first, I am so sorry for your loss. I can imagine how upsetting it may be.
Unhappy people, if they don't find the right way to come out of that feeling they hold can get that way .. they may not even be intentional about it or they may. But the thing is, it's not your responsibility to figure this out.
Your responsibility is for you to draw boundaries so their negativity doesn't taint you.

I don’t really understand what’s so hard about this. We are interacting online so why be so negative? I have run into some “mean girls” here. I have no interest in that. I have cried a few times in the last few days over posts that were made about me. It as hard to see people that were friends comment but I don’t think they knew.

I am sorry you were met with that attitude. You are so positive and this place is lucky to have you. I appreciate that you want to show positivity here. I haven’t been perfect but I certainly don’t set out to hurt people. Please keep being you 💖.

@SlippingAway I learned it through counselling and a management course. It’s better to step back from a situation and clear your mind for a moment. Even if you need to write out those thoughts to get them out do that but don’t send them when you feel that way because it can be so destructive. It’s not easy to NOT react in the moment either it’s takes time and patience to do it but it really does pay off in the end. You will be happier and better for it 💖.
