Do you think that the older we get, the more we settle?

For me, it depends on the circumstance. On the one hand, I'm better at standing up for myself, and getting what I deserve. On the other hand, I've learned to pick my battles.

Define "settle", though.

We change in various ways but many people lead very active and fulfilling lives well into ripe old ages.

I'm a lot calmer, that's for sure. Remove the ex, remove the stress! ☺☺☺

We learn to pick the battles we want to fight, whether to raise a ruckus or not, how much its worth or will anything be accomplished from it. If it has to do with safety issues, then, learn to fight for yourself and keep your safe

I’m certainly trying to settle down more as I get get older.

The older I get the LESS I settle. Unless something or someone completely enhances my existence I am perfect without it/them.

I think our priorities change.

I think we know better then to be so flighty as in our youth or maybe we just don't have the drive and energy

Some people just get older.

We tend to droop and sag more than settle.
