My husband is mocking me for the excited noise I make when food arrives in a pub or restaurant.

I didn’t even know I made a noise. He’s made a video montage of it on his phone and sent it to my brother for a laugh.

Cheeky git. What’s wrong with getting excited about food?

Sounds quite cute! My wife gets excited about good food too. As do I. Not sure what noise she makes but her smile shows she enjoys good food.

It's surprising how many people do things out if habit without even realising they are doing it.
You could be doing something much worse that showing your appreciation for your food.

@helenS That's not good, it's not easy to remove it.

@MrAverage1965 Une affaire pour mon coiffeur...

@helenS That's understandable
How much I gotta pay for this montage to be shared on SW? 🤔

@BadAssTunaBotHoe That’s not happening - people already have a dim view of me 😂

Nothing at all, especially when the service is slow and you have been waiting patiently in anticipation!!

Maybe he wants you to get excited about him instead? 😏

Nothing wrong at all 🙂

My eldest niece used to get so excited at the prospect of being served that she'd exclaim "Ooh, plates!", or what ever else the waiter had brought to the table in preparation for the food arriving!

I think that is a great thing to do. I like when people get excited about things!! I think it's very endearing.
