For the life of me, I can't understand why college pay a freaking ton of the speakers to come around and talk, when most students don't give a crap.

Never went to one that I wasn't forced to. Or maybe just to get extra credit as I had a chance of pushing my grade to the next highest level.

I'm not sure what value I'd get from a motivational speaker to begin with. Unlike other people who are trash-talking the profession, I'm sure some people do get value from motivational speech, but it's not my thing.
