Why I only share the few old pics of my face I still have with others

@Ducky Alex! I didn't mean to offend you, I just know it's another case of you being harder on yourself than the reality!

@MellyMel22 & @bellybuttonfan17 Picture this if you will: One day, you’re looking rather pretty. Sure there are plenty of other women who are prettier than you, but you’re still pretty yourself and all that is just your low self-esteem getting in the way. The one day while you’re really sick, you’re suddenly disfigured beyond repair. You realize all those days when you thought you were ugly was you taking your own looks for granted and you never were truly ugly physically. But now you’re really not pretty and you never will be again. Short of plastic surgery… But what you see in the mirror every day? That’s your new face, like it or not. One eye melted slightly lower than the other, so I don’t even see straight. The skin around my eyes is so red, I have to wear concealer whenever I go out so people aren’t asking me if I’m okay.

I am not pretty. From the neck-down sure! I’m still confident in my body and that’s about the only thing that makes me feel good about my looks. That and my eye color, I suppose. But you’re not doing my any favors when you try to convince me that my face is actually pretty when it’s not..

@Ducky Sure I will give you that may be the radio therapy did a number on you, but my point is, it still isn't enough to justify you calling yourself ugly... Real world behavior of others towards you shows otherwise. Just pls be kind on yourself! You deserve your self love more than anything else first!!
