I like how Conservapedia lists George Orwell on their list of conservative authors

People can't just claim an author as conservative or liberal. He was a writer who is clearly still relevant and his works still are read by many people of all political stripes.

Maybe rather ask why it upsets you to see him "claimed" by conservatives?
